Although the market offers imaginatively designed pieces of furniture, there is no reason not to make our own old pieces of furniture more beautiful.
For this purpose you ca use many techniques, but I decided to embellish that old closet in the hall with wooden ornaments.
Ornaments were originally brown, so I painted them gray and then white, glue and attach to the closet.
Didn`t want to overdo it, so I just put them on the top and bottom of the closet.
Handles were gold, so I also painted them white and added a burlap bow.
The dining room is refreshed with new shelf with hooks. On the shelf are two paintings of butterflies.
Rooster chalkboard is there to wish us good morning, and to leave a notes.
Old napkin holder is also decorated with wooden ornaments, and now serves as a decorative plate holder.
I also added a small owl calendar to remind us on important dates and responsibilities.
Pots for spices decorated with chalkboard are addition to the kitchen, with a printed picture of sweet bird that I found on the blog The Graphics Fairy and put it in the cute frame.

Iako tržište nudi maštovito dizajnirane komade nameštaja, nema razloga da i sami ne ulepšamo stare komade koje već imamo.
U tu svrhu se može koristiti mnoštvo tehnika, ali ja sam se odlučila da stari plakar u holu ulepšam drvenim ornamentima.
Ornamenti su bili braon boje, pa sam ih obojila u sivo a potom u belo i zalepila na plakar.
Nisam htela da preteram, pa sam motiv postavila samo na vrh i dno plakara.
Ručice su bile zlatne, pa sam i njih obojila u belo i dodala mašnu od jute.
Trpezarija je osvežena novom policom sa kukicama na kojoj su dve slike sa motivom leptira.
Petao-školska tabla je tu da nam poželi dobro jutro i služi kao mesto za poruke.
Stari držač za salvete je takođe ukrašen drvenim ornamentima i sada služi kao držaš ukrasnog tanjira.a ne zaboravimo važne datume i obaveze.

Saksije za začine sa tablom za pisanje dodatak su u kuhinji, uz odštampanu sliku slatke ptičice koju sam pronašla na blogu The Graphics Fairy i stavila u ram.
