Shabby Clock Makeover

Some time ago I bought a antique watch, or to be precise just a frame without a clock. He stayed in the shade waiting for me to put him back to life and make his heart beating again. 
After hard work at home, I decided to devote myself to him and bring back his former beauty.
Process was simple. I found a mechanism on an old clock, added a image that I found on a blog http://thegraphicsfairy.com/, adapted hourhands, which were white and too long. I fixed image with process like decoupage, but I used wood glue mixed with a little water. I ad it first to the ground and then over image.When everything was dry I`ve draw again parts of the image that were washed out. Over all, I sprinkled a little spray varnish for shine and better fixing and wrote the numbers and then put the glass back. 
When I put it back on the frame, he happily knock from the bottom of his heart.

Pre nekog vremena kupila sam starinski sat, zapravo samo ram bez sata. On je opušteno čekao u senci da ga se setim da mu vratim srce koje će opet da kuca.
Nakon napornog spremanja nereda u stanu, odlučila sam da mu posvetim malo vremena i vratim nekadašnju lepotu.
Postupak je bio jednostavan. Pronašla sam mehanizam sa nekog starog sata, dodala sliku koju sam našla na blogu http://thegraphicsfairy.com/, malo prilagodila kazaljke koje su bile bele i previše dugačke. Sliku sam uradila u dekupaž tehnici, ali sam upotrebila lepak za drvo pomešan sa malo vode, nanela ga prvo na podlogu, a potom i preko slike. Kada se sve osušilo, malo sam popravila sliku tankim flomasterom i nacrtala brojeve. Preko svega sam poprskala malo laka za sjaj i bolje učvršćivanje i vratila stakleni poklopac. Kada sam ga vratila u ram, on je srećno zakucao od sveg srca.
