Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt; add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Pomešati brašno, šećer, prašak za pecivo i so; dodavati postepeno mleko stalno mešajući da se dobije glatka smesa.
Pour batter over butter (do not stir).
Sipati polako testo preko otopljenog butera (ne mešati).
Bring remaining 1 cup sugar, peach slices, and lemon juice to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly;
Prestali šećer, kriške breskvi i limunov sok kuvati 10-tak minuta stalno mešajući. (ja sam dodala i malo vode);
Pour over batter (do not stir). Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired.
Staviti polako breskve preko testa (ne mešati). Sipati i sav sok koji je ostao nakon kuvanja breskvi. Posuti cimetom (ili oraščićem) po želji.
Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve cobbler warm or cool.
Peći 45 minuta na 190°C ili dok ne postane zlatno braon. Služiti toplo ili hladno uz kuglu sladoleda od vanile.

Thanks so much Lynda! I would recommend you to use less sugar, I think 1 cup of sugar is enough.
