DIY Pom Pom Blanket

Hi friends, and welcome back. Today I`m sharing easy way to make your own pom pom blanket. This blankets are very popular and cute, but they can be price as well. I really wanted white one, but I couldn`t find it, and even if I find one I like, I didn`t want to spend that much money, so I decided to make my own.

You will need:

1. Fleece, flannel of fabric of your choice
2. Yarn
3. Scissors
4. Needle and thread

First step is to cut your fabric to size you want. Mine is 130x160 cm (50x60 inces), but you can do any size, depending on your needs.

Note: You can use any fabric you like, but if you want to skip saying edges, use fabric that doesn`t fray. 

Next step is to make a bunch of pompoms. As I said before, I wanted my blanket all white, so I used white yarn, but you can use different color yarn for your pompoms and make a colorful blanket.
Pompoms can be made in a many different ways. I will show you the way with a DIY pom pom maker.
Using a cardboard (the sturdier the better) cut out two circles exactly the same size and made a little opening on both. The larger the circle, the larger the pom pom. 

Lay the circles together and wrap the yarn around and around. Insert your scissors between the two pieces of cardboard and carefully cut around, being careful not to lose any of the yarn bits through the opening.

Using a separate piece of yarn, secure in the middle of the pom pom and tie tight to secure. 

Trim to form a nice round shape and your pompoms are ready. 

Last part is to sew the pompoms on your blanket and voila, your pom pom blanket is done!! 

I`m really happy how it turned out, looks so pretty and cute on my sofa. Now I`m gonna do my happy dance!! :D

So this is why I always try to refine my work space details and make them appealing to the eye. Mouse pad is definitely one of the little things that are always close to me, so I want to change it and make it cute and fun. Are you in love with your mouse pad? I really hate mine, it`s old and ugly and really not in my style. So, let’s change that, in 10 minutes! Kao što sam rekla, ovaj projekat je brz i jednostavan i zahteva samo par stvarčica koje verovatno već imate kod kuće. You`ll need: 1. Piece of plastic (or any material you have on hand) 2. Cute scrapbook paper or fabric 3. Glue or decoupage glue and glue gun 4. Clear varnish 5. Scissors 6. Decorative pom pom ribbon or lace Materijal: 1. Parče plastike (ili drugog materijala koji vam je dostupan) 2. Dezenirani papir ili tkanina 3. Lepak, lepak za dekupaž i pištolj za vrući lepak 4. Providni lak 5. Makaze 6. Dekorativna pom pom traka ili neka druga ukrasna traka (čipka) Tutorial: First, apply glue on the plastic (or other material you chose) and glue your scrapbook paper on top and trim the edges. Apply a coat of decoupage glue on top and let dry. After everything is completely dry, apply a coat (or two) of clear varnish. Let dry completely. Finally with a hot glue gun add a decorative trim and your new and cute mouse pad is finished!! How easy was that!? Tutorijal: Prvo nanesite sloj lepka (ili lepka za dekupaž) na plastiku, pažljivo zalepite ukrasni papir i izravnajte ga da nema mehurića vazduha. Odsecite makazama višak papira. Nanesite još jedan sloj lepka za dekupaž preko papira kako bi bio postojan i ostavite da se osuši. Nakon što je sve suvo, nanesite sloj (ili dva) providnog laka. Ostavite da se potpuno osuši. DIY Shabby Chic Desk Organization

Sometimes we all think that we don’t have time to organize our desk or work area, but if we really think how much time that disorganization can cost us, we’d reconsider. We all know the situation when we have so many things on our desk, but never the thing we are looking for. Pens, sharpies, scissors, brushes are laying all over the place and make a big mess.

Rearranging and moving piles of things occasionally doesn’t count. Neither does clearing off desk, and swipe the mess into a bin, or a desk drawer. A relatively neat and orderly work space clears the way for higher productivity and less wasted time. 

Organizing your office doesn’t have to take days or money. The thing we need is desk organizer. But, sometimes we don`t want to spend extra money on them, or they just don`t fit our style. 

If you have some left over jars, you can ease make one. It`s going to be your style and unique. 

I chose to make this shabby romantic desk organizers. They are so cute that will enliven any desk or office. These three are perfect for organizing pens and brushes on the desk, or to hold flatware and utensils in the kitchen or to keep your makeup brushes in one place. Svi ponekad mislimo da nemamo vremena da organizujemo svoj sto ili radni prostor i konstanto olažemo tu gnjavažu, ali ako zaista razmislimo o tome koliko vremena izgubimo zbog meteža koji vlada oko nas, shvatićemo da to nije tako. Svima nam je bliska situacija kada imamo milion stvari na stolu, ali nikada nema one koju tražimo. Olovke, flomasteri, četkice, makaze, sve to leži razbacano po stolu i pravi haos.

Ja sam izabrala shabby romatičan stil za moje teglice. Toliko su slatke da će oživeti svaki sto ili radni prostor. Praktične su za odlaganje olovala i četkica, za držanje escajga ili varjačica u kuhinji ili za čuvanje svih makeup četkica na jednom mestu. Ili kao vaze u koje ćete staviti sveže cveće i uživati.
