The Ultimate Packing List and Tips

Wishing for an endless summer? Here’s your ultimate packing list and guide to paradise. A complete summer packing list for the coast or pool, amongst my favorite sunny destinations and tips how to pack like a pro!
P I N  T H I S  F O R  L A T E R!!
Since travel season is already started, I`m thinking it`s the best time to share some of my best packing tips and my Ultimate Packing List, which you can download at the end of the post.
First of, tips for packing , which I sorted in a few categories.
Categori N0 1:
Necessities
In this category I will put everything I should never forget, because without them, I can`t go anywhere. These are: passport (visa), ID, credit card/s, money, boarding pass/ticket, directions, medications (if you taking some regularly).
Since these are so important, I always want to keep the near me during the trip, so I pack them in my handbag or backpack (depending which one I carry with me). For the editional help to  myself, I like to put my passport and boarding pass/ticket in a separate pouch so I can find them very easy and quick (rather than digging through my bag for about 10 minutes while everyone is rolling their eyes).
For the money, I also have my own hack. I always split my cash and keep it in a different spots (some of it I`ll keep in my handbag, some in a carry on bag and some in my pocket in a small wallet). This is just in case something unexpected happened - this prevents me from situation to have no money left on me. Also, I never carry a lot of money with me, I like to leave it on my card and use it that way.
Category N0 2:
Clothes
When speaking of clothes, my biggest tip is how to pack/fold your clothes so it takes a less space in your suitcase. I like to use "file system", which means to fold and pack my clothing like a files in a drawer. I fold everything in a rectangle shape, trying to make it the same height as my suitcase. Then I pile on everything together and lay it on the bottom of the suitcase. This system saves a lot of space and also enables to see all your thing at a glance.
Additional tip is to prepare in advance your outfits for each day and take a photos with your phone. Once you are on your destination, you will have finished looks for every day and you can be ready to go in 5 minutes.
For my underwear I use zip lock bags or pouches and "file" them the same way as my clothing. My shoes are also in separate zip lock bags, so they don`t have a contact with my clothing.
Last tip is to always wear your sweaters, jackets, hat and other bigger pieces on the plane/bus/train. This will save you a lot of space in your suitcase, and also they are really comfortable to wear.
Category No 3:
Toiletries
This category is one of the hardest to pack, because of different shapes and sizes, but my pouch system is again a big help. I like to categorize products like cleaning products, skin care or hair products in different pouches so I can easily find what I`m looking for.
Also I always save all the sample products during the year and bring them with me when I`m traveling. They are small, compact and easy to pack. If I don`t have any, I will transfer small amount in a travel bottles which can be found in any drugstore.
Category N0 4:
Tech
This category is also a hard to pack, because of shapes and fragility. This is why I leave it for the end of my packing, because most of them I carry on with me in a backpack or big tote bag. The stuff I don`t need with me, I just tuck between my clothing so it doesn`t get damaged during the travel. I also like to wrap it in my socks or scarves to additionally secure them.
Category No 5:
Misc & Personal
This category contains all the other things I carry with me on travel, like hair ties and clips, paper and pen, first aid kit, insect repellant, belts, jewellery etc. I usually pack them in small zip lock bags because they are clear and don`t take up a lot of space. This category also contains books, magazines and any other personal things I need. This things I usually pack in a second half of my suitcase, together with my toiletries.

I`m using a packing list for years, because it makes process of preparing for the trip so much easier then to have it all in my head or on numerous lists and notes. It`s also great if you need to check if you already have everything you need, or have to go shopping (like me, hahaha).
So, without further ado, here is my Ultimate Packing List for you to download and use every time you travel. It`s on 3 pages in total and it will give you the only packing list you`ll ever need! I also included "Other" category - free space for you to add things you need, so it can be customizable to your needs.
Hope you`ll like it and find it helpful!

A Day In Corfu / What To Visit In Greece

Location: Corfu . September 3, 2015
When we arrived to Corfu Island, I wanted to see everything. There are so many things, and I wanted to take it all, not wanting to miss a single thing.
First place to see is, of course, the town Corfu (also known as Kerkyra), beautiful place with so many little alleys and colorful streets that are lined with the cutest restaurants and hundreds of shops just waiting to be discovered. Of course, the most popular is the Liston street, one of the loveliest promenades in Europe. The design of the Liston street was inspired by the Rue de Rivoli, Paris, built in 1807 by the French imperial commissioner Mathieu de Lesseps.

We also visited the Serbian Museum of Corfu. It houses rare exhibits about the Serbian soldiers' tragic fate during the First World War. Then we have a bout trip to a Vido island. During the First World War, the island Vido served as an island hospital and quarantine for sick Serbian soldiers. Over 5,000 people were buried at sea near the island of Vido. As a sign of respect, we throw roses into the sea at a place known as the Blue Tomb.

Posetili smo i Srpsku kuću, naravno.

Back in town, after stopping into one too many shops (I just have to see everything!) we were getting a little lost in the little streets...

But, finally we made our way to the most amazing restaurant with a domestic food and vine (Retzina, of course) and had a great lunch.
Naposletku smo pronašli put do restorana koji smo ranije tog dana videli i gde smo hteli da ručamo. Domaća kuhinja, hladna Retcina = savršen ručak.
After the break, we decided to go to famous Palaio Frourio (Old Fortress). Constructed by the Venetians in the 15th century on the remains of a Byzantine castle and further altered by the British, this spectacular landmark offers respite from the crowds and superb views of the region. Climb to the summit of the inner outcrop which is crowned by a lighthouse for a 360-degree panorama. The gatehouse contains a Byzantine museum too!

I even found a little friend up there! :)
Pronašla sam i jednog divnog prijatelja na vrhu! :)
Here we are, made it to to top!
Evo i nas na vrhu!
If you are to tired to walk after all that, you can go around with a tourist bus or (if you are more on romantic side, like me!) by carriage.
Then we pay a visit to Church of Agios Spyridon, Palace of St Michael & St George and Museum of Asian Art, and I was so tired. To be honest, we must have walked, at least, 10 kilometers to see all that. Even one of my sandals couldn`t take that much.., she snapped, so I had to buy slippers!
Although we were tired, the next day we planned another trip, because we have to see one other thing, the Achilleion Palace. It can be found in the Village of Gastouri, 10 km’s south west of the town of Corfu. It belonged to the Empress Elisabeth of Austria (known as 'Sissi') and Kaiser William II of Germany. Empress Elisabeth built the palace to escape the tragedies of her life, and William II purchased it after her untimely death. William II, however, never had a chance to enjoy the palace’s beauty because of a war that broke out, from his own doing. After years of rebuilding and restoration, the palace was finally restored to its former beauty.
Then we went to Palaiokastritsa, village in the North West of Corfu and visited Theotokos Monastery. There is an arched inner courtyard with beautiful flowers, and a small museum with Byzantine and post-Byzantine icons. The view from the Monastery is superb!!
Next stop was Golden Fox on the top of the Paleokastritsa. This is the place to enjoy the panoramic view from the veranda of swimming pool which overlooks the monastery and the green and blue bays of Paleokastritsa. In the restaurant you can enjoy in traditional Greek dishes or coffees, beverages and cakes.
After all that sightseeing you can have a lazy afternoon on the beautiful beach...

Or have an unforgettable underwater experience on the Jellow Submarine! This was the most amazing thing for me, I have to admit!! To be able to see sea-bottom, fishes, corals and stay dry and safe is definitely my thing! :)

Our cruise continued along the beautiful coastline with lunch (made by our captain) on one of the many beautiful beaches we visited and adventures swimming and diving in perfect Blue cave and turquoise sea.
After a really long day out in the sun, we finally made it back to our hotel with just a few minutes before sunset. We ordered drinks and made our way to the pool to enjoy in the last views of the perfect day.
